Recently, I was contacted by Pevonia Botanica to review some skin products. After some guidance from fellow beauty bloggers and a little research on my behalf I knew I wanted to try the Pevonia Botanica Your Skincare Solution COMBINATION SKIN Kit.
Since moving on from my teenage years to adult life, many things have changed, my skin being one! I use to have oily acne prone skin, now, I lean more towards combination, with the usual problems of dryness here and breakout there! Eeek! I have used each product from Pevonia's Combination Skin line to the last drop and now I bring you my thoughts in review.

The cleanser is an important primary step to balance the skin and control "T" zone oiliness. This light textured cleanser lifts off all impurities, leaving skin clean, fresh and soft.
Lemon, Grapefruit Essential Oil, Beta-Carotene and Rosemary combine to refine pores, brighten the complexion and hydrate the skin.
As the cleanser is a cream formula, I found it was perfect for winter as it was ultra-hydrating. Creamy, though water soluble, the Combination Skin Cleanser rinses without leaving any residue on the skin.

The Combination Lotion is an important secondary step to a perfect facial cleansing.
With Rosemary Essential Oil, Witch Hazel and Aloe, it balances the sebum secretion and regulates the skin's pH, whilst brightening and hydrating the skin.
Alcohol free, this plant extract lotion controls oiliness and prepares the skin for further treatment.

My favourite step in the 3-step-system! I adore the soothing Lemongrass scent that lingered on my skin. Zesty & refreshing for morning & night!
Packed full of natural ingredients like Arnica, Cucumber and Lemongrass Essential Oil, this face treatment cream helps balance the skin's "T" zone oily secretions and regulate the skin's pH.
Hazel Nut Oil and Vitamin E help to fight fine lines, delaying the aging process, repairing and healing the skin. Pores are left refined and the skin's surface smooth.
The Verdict:
The Pevonia Botanica Combination Skin Care line is a beautifully thought out cleanse & nourish system for your skin. I have noticed the visible results of extra plumpness to my skin, and a definite decrease in blemishes. The Combination Skin Care line has calmed and soothed my skin. It now appears less 'angry' and just looks brighter! If I could use 1 skin care line for the rest of my days, this would be it! I LOVED the fresh and uplifting scents of grapefruit & lemongrass. It left my skin feeling plump, thoroughly cleansed, yet not stripped of natural moisture. BONUS you get a beautifully quilted white makeup bag that contains the kit! I have been using the makeup bag for overnight stays and have found it to be a perfect size and oh so pretty.
