| Fanciful Friday | Vintage Cosmetics Advertising | Revlon | Elizabeth Arden | Coty | Helena Rubenstein |

HAPPY FRIDAY to you!

Todays post is part of the Fanciful Friday series here on Profound Feline. Fanciful Friday is a series where the imagination and fantastical whimsy of beauty is shared.

I could not resist in posting these stunningly glamorous vintage cosmetics advertisements, including brands like Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, Coty, and Helena Rubenstein. They instantly transport you back in time and capture the enchanting femininity of 1950's glam era perfectly. I hope you enjoy!

Happy Fanciful Friday!

This weekend for me is going to be quite relaxed - a bit of family time, some shopping, and study too. BUT I will make some time to paint my nails in the sunshine, splash on a bright lip, and treat myself to a well needed face mask on Sunday evening.

How do you add a little glamour into your weekend?

I would love to know :) Talk to me in the comments section below.

| Top 6 | Bedside Beauty | Favourites |

I always love to know what beauty products people keep at their bedside.
So I thought, why not share with you my Bedside Beauty favourites that I reach for every night.

All who know me know that I love beauty products, and bedtime is no exception. Especially at night I love to have my favourite
pampering products at arms reach in those few minutes before I snuggle into bed and drift off to sleep.

Almost all my favourite Bedside Beauty products are moisture-enriching, helping to nourish and hydrate my skin overnight. I begin by concentrating on hydrating my face by applying a rollerball of organic cold-pressed rosehip oil around the delicate eye area. The product is both cooling and nourishing, sinking into my skin like a dream. Click here to read a full review of the *RosehipPlus Rosehip Oil Skin Boost Rollerball

If further hydration is required I use Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant on any dry skin areas (around my nose, forehead, even elbows and dry cuticles). I then go in and apply lashings of my favourite lip treatment, the Nivea Caramel Cream Lip Butter. Not only does it smell like creamy caramel on your lips but you wake with a super soft and luscious pout in the morning.

Moving next to body hydration, I turn to LUSH. Even though I apply body cream daily post-shower I still like extra hydration at night. The *LUSH Lovely Jubblies Breast Cream is a new product to my favourites, yet a quick love affair has developed. Applied to the breast and decolletage, Lovely Jubblies promises to lighten and firm skin. The scent of Tigerlilly and Jasmine is relaxing and delicate enough to apply at bedtime. I absolutely adore this product, and a little goes a long way. After that it is nice to apply a thick blob of hand cream, bringing it all the way up the forearm. Your hands do so much work for you daily, along with winter flu-season hand-washing rituals. Therefore it's nice to re-hydrate your hands at night. I use the *Kosmea Rose Hand Cream. To read my quick review & thoughts on the Kosmea Rose Hand Cream click here

Lastly, scent is known to be very closely connected to relaxation. I am in no way a troubled sleeper but I do sometimes find it challenging to drift off. I have noticed I experience a deeper sleep when aided by relaxing aromas. Be it burning a scented candle, or applying perfume to my pulse point. At the moment I am loving the Victoria's Secret mist in Love Spell. It has a beautiful cherry blossom and peach bouquet that veils the bedroom and even the bed sheets. Sweet dreams everyone.

Do you have a little stash of products you love beside your bed?

What are your favourite bedside pamper products?

| Priceline | 40% off Skincare Haul |

Hi everyone,

As most of you would know, Priceline recently held one of their amazing 40% off sales during the Christmas/Boxing Day period.
It just so happened I needed a few beauty items.

Here is what I purchased.

  • x2 Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Masque  $21.99  On Clearance for $10
  • Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream and 8 Hour Cream Lip Balm $24.99  paid $14.99
  • Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye & Lip Makeup Remover $19.99 paid $11.23
  • Limited Edition Batiste Summer Trio Pack with BONUS Sleep Mask $9.95 paid $6.99

On my adventures into Priceline I like to be organised. Okay, let's not kid, I always like to be organised. On most days I do have running lists of 'To Do's' & 'To Buys'. So before venturing to Priceline I had a look online to see what skincare products I might like to try. I was leaning toward higher-end brands as I thought, why not? I am going to save 40%, this is the perfect opportunity to try different brands. Top of my list was La-Roche Posay. You can imagine my dismay upon realisation the rural Priceline (as I was staying with family at the time) DID NOT STOCK La Roche Posay! *cries* After double-checking with staff, it was confirmed. Instead, they mentioned Avène & so I indulged.

Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Masque

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream including 8 Hour Cream Lip Balm

This products has been on my must try list for some time now.
Have you tried it? Is it worth all the hype?

Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

I am close to finishing my last bottle of the Maybelline Total Clean Express Makeup Remover for eyes & lips and I am hoping this product will work just as well. I am quite a fan of the activated makeup removers on the market at the moment, it's fun to shake it up!

Limited Edition Batiste Summer Trio Pack with BONUS Sleep Mask

I do love Batiste. I have tried many dry shampoos and when I use Batiste is does feel noticeably better in my hair. What does this mean? I'm not sure, but it keeps me coming back to this product. This pack contains 3 minis in varying scents.

Perfect for on the go in my handbag!

Did you pick anything up in the Priceline sales?

What is your ultimate repurchased beauty item?

Hope you are all having a beautiful week!
