| Priceline | 40% off Skincare Haul |

Hi everyone,

As most of you would know, Priceline recently held one of their amazing 40% off sales during the Christmas/Boxing Day period.
It just so happened I needed a few beauty items.

Here is what I purchased.

  • x2 Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Masque  $21.99  On Clearance for $10
  • Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream and 8 Hour Cream Lip Balm $24.99  paid $14.99
  • Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye & Lip Makeup Remover $19.99 paid $11.23
  • Limited Edition Batiste Summer Trio Pack with BONUS Sleep Mask $9.95 paid $6.99

On my adventures into Priceline I like to be organised. Okay, let's not kid, I always like to be organised. On most days I do have running lists of 'To Do's' & 'To Buys'. So before venturing to Priceline I had a look online to see what skincare products I might like to try. I was leaning toward higher-end brands as I thought, why not? I am going to save 40%, this is the perfect opportunity to try different brands. Top of my list was La-Roche Posay. You can imagine my dismay upon realisation the rural Priceline (as I was staying with family at the time) DID NOT STOCK La Roche Posay! *cries* After double-checking with staff, it was confirmed. Instead, they mentioned Avène & so I indulged.

Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Masque

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream including 8 Hour Cream Lip Balm

This products has been on my must try list for some time now.
Have you tried it? Is it worth all the hype?

Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

I am close to finishing my last bottle of the Maybelline Total Clean Express Makeup Remover for eyes & lips and I am hoping this product will work just as well. I am quite a fan of the activated makeup removers on the market at the moment, it's fun to shake it up!

Limited Edition Batiste Summer Trio Pack with BONUS Sleep Mask

I do love Batiste. I have tried many dry shampoos and when I use Batiste is does feel noticeably better in my hair. What does this mean? I'm not sure, but it keeps me coming back to this product. This pack contains 3 minis in varying scents.

Perfect for on the go in my handbag!

Did you pick anything up in the Priceline sales?

What is your ultimate repurchased beauty item?

Hope you are all having a beautiful week!

| Welcome to 2014! |

Hi everyone,

Welcome to 2014!!!!! The past few weeks have just flown for me! How about you? I feel like I am still back in Christmas. How are we halfway through January ALREADY (seriously?!). Therefore, I thought a quick catchup was in order. They do say, a picture tells a thousand words :) so here is a pictorial overview of the last few weeks. Christmas, New Years Eve, and all that runs between.

  • The first few photographs capture the Christmas table this year. Abundant, enjoyable and very thankful for the special time with my family. Mr W's Gran was so kind to make my family a gorgeous Christmas Cake which served as our table centrepiece!
  • My brother and I made a giant jug of PIMMS cocktails with fruit.
  • I got a singing and dancing GIZMO from Mr W for Christmas love love love!
  • Ate too many Fruit Loops (childhood favourite) and played LEGO Lord of the Rings on PS2.
  • Fireworks in Adelaide on New Year's Eve.
  • Made Lemon Melting Moments Cookies.
  • Road trip to my parents for a week of fresh country air with Mr W. Travelled across the Murray River on a ferry. A delicious lunch at Renmark on the riverfront of the Murray River.
  • Visited a friends Apple Orchard for an afternoon of catchups with my high school girlfriends. So much fun reminiscing, sharing food, and laughing together!

How did you celebrate your Christmas & New Years?

I hope you are all having a beautiful start to the year & week :)

Stay tuned this week for a HUGE post Christmas LUSH HAUL!

Hi everyone,

Happy Holidays! Only one more sleep until Christmas Day! I hope you are all now enjoying a well earned break over this festive time of year. I was tagged by Melissa from Melissa Bubbles Beauty Fashion & Life to do the Christmas Tag! As we are very near to Christmas day I thought why not give it a go?
Snowflake Wallpapers
What's your favourite holiday movie?
Love Actually. I watched it on Sunday night with a cup of tea in one hand and homemade fruit mince pie in the other. Perfect!

What's your favourite Christmas colour?
I am a bit traditional when it comes to decorating my Christmas Tree. I love the look of gold, green, red and anything sparkly, of course.

Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas morning with my family. Although, last night Mr W and I exchanged our Christmas gifts as we won't be seeing each other on the day. YES for early presents! :D

What's your favourite winter fragrance?
Lolita Lempicka - my ALL time classic scent. I repurchase this one again, and again!

Favourite Christmas smell?
Warm Christmas Pudding or Cinnamon Cookies fresh out of the oven. To be consumed with copious amounts of cold milk from a tall glass mmmmm.

What's your favourite holiday drink?
I was lucky to try one of the ever-so-popular 'Christmas Holiday Inspired Coffee's' at Gloria Jeans a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed my Maple Latte for a mid afternoon pick-me-up. Have you tried it? On Christmas day, each year my family and I make a different cocktail to enjoy. Last year it was Pina Colada, this year, Pimm's. I can't wait to enjoy it on the day!

Candy cane or gingerbread men?
Both for sure! How can you choose?

Favourite Christmas song?
Dean Martin's "Let it snow"

Have you ever made a snowman?
No I haven't. I would love too!

What is most important to you about the holidays?
Definitely the spirit of giving and love. Spending quality time with family and loved ones is most important to me!
