Last Wednesday evening I was invited, along with fellow Adelaide beauty / lifestyle / fashion bloggers and media, to the launch of the NEW Kosmea Rose Hand Cream. The beautiful event was held at Kosmea HQ right here in Adelaide, South Australia. On the night I was interested to learn that Kosmea are stocked in over 1,700 stores throughout Australia and in 7 countries! What a fantastic accomplishment. I love supporting local SA products in all forms!
The evening was hosted by Olivia Jenkins, author of the 'Clear Skin Project' and daughter of Marie Jenkins, Kosmea Company Founder and Business Manager at Kosmea Australia. It was an inspiration and pleasure to hear from Olivia about Kosmea, their products releases for 2014, & idea behind launching the NEW Kosmea Rose Hand Cream.

Upon entering Kosmea HQ I was immediately veiled with the scent of roses & immersed in a sea of pink hues. The room was filled with excitedly chatting bloggers, and this was just a taste of what was to come of a beautiful evening.
To celebrate the launch of the Kosmea Rose Hand Cream, we were treated to champagne and delicious treats. As soon as I lay eyes upon the delicate pink cupcakes I knew one (or two) had to be mine :)

Kosmea kindly sent us happily home with a 'goodie bag' containing their Facial Cleansing Wipes, the Rose Hand Cream, and an exquisite flavoured tea from Pukka (I am sipping it as I write this post).
NOW if you are new to Kosmea products of just want to be well informed. Here are the main reasons that I love Kosmea and their product range:
♡ NO mineral oils
♡ NO artificial colours
♡ NO petrochemicals
♡ NO artificial fragrances
♡ NO sodium lauryl sulphate
♡ NO animal ingredients
♡ NOT tested on animals
♡ Recyclable packaging
Even though we were able to trial the Rose Hand Cream at the event, it has been a pleasure to trial it at home - with daily applications. The skin enriching oils of rose hip, jojoba, and olive oil help to hydrate and replenish my skin, whilst the aloe vera, vitamin E & white tea extract protect against the signs of ageing (i hope)!
So, after a weeks use, what are my initial thoughts of Kosmea's Rose Hand Cream?
- Delicate fresh rose aroma is calming and relaxing (I apply just before bed time)
- It is a very nourishing cream
- Sinks in to the skin almost immediately - no sticky / greasy residue
- Gives a silky feel to hands after application and lasts for some time
- I feel good using the product as it has NO artificial perfumes. The rose scent is the REAL THING - Damascus Rose Flower Water with Rosewood Oil.
- Convenient size that easily fits into my handbag or on my bedside table.
The Kosmea Rose Hand Cream retails for $19.95 50ml and is available at David Jones, Terry White Chemists, and selected pharmacies and health food stores.
