| REVIEW | MyNewSkin | Olive & Lemon Myrtle Skin Balm | 'From Herb Farm To Skin Balm' |

MyNewSkin Herbal Skin Balm is a 100% natural, Australian-grown and made face and body balm crafted
from a combination of 7 fresh hand-picked herbs and essential oils.

A green bouquet of freshly-picked Olive Leaf, Oregano, Chickweed, Burdock, Sheep Sorrel, Salad Burnett and Fresh Lantana
infuse into a base of Olive Oil with either Lavender or Lemon Myrtle. These precious ingredients combine, forming an
antioxidant-rich balm with lush emollient properties. Helping soothe, soften and restore the skin of the face and body.

MyNewSkin Skin & Body Balm:

    ✓ Nourishing

      ✓ Moisturising

 ✓ Soothing

    ✓ Refreshing

  ✓ Softening

       ✓ Replenishing

         ✓ Chemical free

INGREDIENTS:

Olive oil (extra virgin), Fresh extracts of: Burdock, Chickweed, Olive leaf, Oregano and Sheep Sorrel,
Ocean salt, Bees wax, Salad Burnett and Lantana, Macadamia wax, Lemon Myrtle oil.

MyNewSkin DOES NOT contain: synthetic colours, fragrances, petrol-chemicals and synthetic parabens.
The balm is available in two variants. Olive and Lavender or Olive and Lemon Myrtle.

DIRECTIONS:

Apply the desired amount, a little or a lot to dry skin areas. I have used this product as a face balm applied to cheeks,
forehead, and the delicate eye area. MyNewSkin is also perfect for dry elbows, cracked heels and as a cuticle balm.

MyNewSkin skin balm is quickly absorbed & leaves skin nourished and beautifully scented with lemon myrtle (it reminds
me of lemonade Icypoles). This product is gentle enough for use on 'face or feet' - a true "jack-of-all-trades-product"!

Perfect for a beauty treatment in a flash!

VERDICT:

The bottom line, I feel good using this product.

What do I really like about MyNewSkin? The herbs are grown chemical free and are lovingly handpicked and processed
on site at a fresh-herb ‘Farmacy’ in Queensland, Australia. It is rare to find a beauty product that contains fresh plant
extracts and is made through sustainable agricultural methods right here in Australia.

My skin feels naturally nourished and healthy when I use this product and that's a big tick in my books.

I highly recommend this product to all I know.

| A Walk in the Park |

I took these photographs on a recent Sunday evening walk through Adelaide's beautiful Linear Park. It is a park that follows beside the Torrens River from the foothills into Adelaide's CBD, roughly 20 kms. So, you are coming along with me today. I hope you enjoy the views :)

Today's post is straying a little from the norm here on Profound Feline. We are talking holistic health, your mind, body, and soul as a whole. It isn't often we take the time to remember how one's outside beauty and physical body as a system are related. But it is true!

When they say:
"You are what you eat"

"Take care of your body, it is the only place you have to live"

"Health is a relationship between you and your body"

Don't get me wrong! I love a delicious slice of chocolate cake as much as anyone and I can VERY successfully convince myself I am just too tired to go for that evening walk :)

BUT when YOU make the effort YOU get the rewards!

Stress hormones are known for increasing your skin’s own oil production, which leads to clogged pores and unsightly whiteheads *shudders* So release some of that tension through exercise and your skin will repay you with a clearer, happier complexion.

Also of note, physical activity, even just walking can substantially reduce a woman’s risk of developing breast cancer. Encouraging new science has found, in part, it seems walking and low impact exercise can change how one's body deals with estrogen.

I like to view moments on nature walks into two types:

A thinking walk where you can work out your problems    AND

A stress-busting walk where you go with the flow.

Rhythmic exercise can have an immediate meditative effect, so it is just another chance to practise mindfulness, awareness of the moment, and our body.

Once getting in touch with mindfulness, you notice subtle aspects, like the breeze on your cheek, your lungs breathing in the fresh air, and birdsongs, those are my favourite.

Stunning Rainbow Lorikeets I discovered on my walk with Mr W the other weekend.
I am a BIG bird-nerd!

Baby ducklings!

If you are finding it difficult to muffle the 'mental chatter' we all get, try counting your breaths or look up at the clouds in the sky
(just watch where you tread).

 It works for me!

Relax those shoulders, take a deep breath, and just be calm.......huuuummmm *zen*

Enjoy your weekend!

What do you love to do for relaxation? Be it exercise or other hobbies :)

Take care,

| Profound Feline | Liebster Award Nomination |

The always vivacious Susannah from Sparkle2day recently nominated me for the Liebster Award! Of late I have been struggling under a mound of blog posts, but NOW I finally have time to breathe *exhales* I am excited to sit down and finally write this post for you!

If you haven't heard of the Liebster Award, it is a post answering a series of Q & A's nominated by the blogger who has tagged you. The Liebster Award was created to help recognise and discover new bloggers, and as a way to welcome people to the bloggersphere! So sweet!

Cuppa tea at my side, thinking cap on, fluffy slippers in tow, I am all yours.

If you would like to learn a little more about me, then just keep on reading!

  • What's a blog that inspires you?
  • A blog that has recently inspired me (of course there are many) is Alix from I Covet Thee
Alix's blog is such a pleasure to read. An aesthetically beautiful layout and her passion for beauty is enviable. Do yourself a favour and click on the above link for some beautiful beauty blogging inspiration.

  • If money and time were no object, what would you like to do with your blog?
  • I would love to incorporate a vintage theme & shop into my blog. I have an honest & huge appreciation for all things vintage, retro & historical. When I am not looking at beauty products in-store I am often searching through flea-markets, thrift-shops, and vintage fairs for pre-loved items from the past to rescue and take home.

  • What's your favourite TV show or movie?
  • This is a hard question to answer. How can you narrow it down to just one? Okay, I am going to go with movies. I have MANY favourites but I think the best way to decide is to choose a movie you can watch over and over again. Therefore, Love Actually would be my favourite! I can happily watch this movie every year when they show it around Christmas time. That being said, if I am under the weather, nothing fails to make me smile like The Adventures of Milo & Otis. Oh you must!

  • What do you like to do when you're not blogging?
  • I love to spend my time with people who make me the most happy. My family, boyfriend, and good friends. If I can incorporate those people with laughter, fun and nature (being outdoors) that is perfection to me.

  • What's your job or dream job (other than blogging)?
  • I love helping people. If I could incorporate aspects of beauty with helping people, that would be the dream. I have previously worked with the Australian Look Good Feel Better Foundation and would love to again. If you are not familiar with LGFB it is a community service program dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects that can be caused by cancer treatment. An inspiring and worthwhile cause.

  • What's your favourite, holy grail beauty product?
  • Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. A delicate little skin treat for overnight wonders on my skin.

  • On your own blog, what's your favourite blog post?
  • It would be my 'Home is where the ♥ is' blog post. Here is the link:

It was a time loss, reflection, and opening my heart to love.

  • What's your favourite recipe (or food if you're not into cooking)?
  • Lemon Cheesecake. The tangier the better :) My taste buds are tingling just looking a this picture.

  • Do you have any pets?
  • Yes, I have an aquarium of fish and the 'other' love of my life, Angas the budgie! He is such a little character and I taught him to talk! Favourite phrase - "What are you doing?"

  • What are your social media links?

  •  Email: profound_feline@hotmail.com

    Twitter: @profound_feline   /   Profound Feline

     Instagram: @profound_feline   /   Profound Feline

    Pinterest: @profound_feline    /   Profound Feline

I would love to get in contact with you, just add me!

  • What advice do you have for new bloggers?

  • Write from the heart, with passion, be kind, and aspire to be the best you can be.

I hope you have enjoyed reading a little about me. If you would like to be Liebster Award Nominated........

    I TAG YOU!
