A few weeks back I was invited to the NEW LUSH store opening at Westfield Marion. It was a fun-filled evening of pampering and learning more about LUSH's values, ethics and environmentally sustainable practices that make it one of my FAVOURITE beauty brands out there! Come along with me to the NEW Westfield Marion store to see their new digs and check out the current product offerings from LUSH Australia!

STATION #1 'D.I.Y Making 'Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser':

It was exciting and humbling to see in 'real time' how quickly and simply the LUSH Angels on Bare Skin was made. Being able to watch all the natural ingredients that make up the product made me feel very comfortable with using the cleanser. It only took a few minutes and it was ready to package up and use (we were kindly given samples of the cleanser to try at home). I am in love with Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser, it is so gentle and comforting on my skin.

STATION #2 Traditional Japanese 'Furoshiki' Wrapping:

When buying individual products as gifts at LUSH, it is encouraged to present your gift in one of their stunning knot wraps. These are based upon the Japanese tradition of ‘furoshiki’, where the wrapping of the gift becomes a part of the gift itself. I love this idea - it's functional, saving our environment, and promoting the re-homing & restyling of vintage scarves! LUSH's furoshiki scarves are all made from recycled plastic or are unique vintage scarves. 

LUSH FACT....................

About 46% of LUSH products are naked (packaging free), including bath bombs, shampoo bars, bubble bars, massage bars, body butters and solid facial cleansers – reducing the preservatives required and packaging sent to landfill in Australia.

Consider this; if everyone in Australia used solid shampoo bars, then we would be reducing landfill by over nine million bottles a year!

STATION #3 'Massage Bars' & Hand Treatments:

Enjoying a relaxing hand massage with the LUSH Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar!

It was a spicy combination of cinnamon leaf and peppermint essential oils - to relax and help ease aching muscles.....
